I need a single widget that is a button and door contact sensor in one.
My garage door button is a momentary switch so is activated for just a second to start the motor, there is no difference between open and close.

There is no single widget for that. Definitely less than ideal, but you would have to use two widgets for now.
Yeah I take it you don’t have a garage as this nice feature didn’t work fully even in the old version.
Hopefully it comes soon enough

but opener is old, needs to be replaced, so not controllable from a smart home yet 
I only have door sensor for now.
