“Every” time I take a look at one of my two tablets running Rotini, it has quit and the home screen is showing. Is this a known bug?
There are no known bugs that would cause that.
Can you give more details about devices, OS version, and backend version?
Lenovo A7-10, I think. I can check more details when possible, but since there are no known issues, I suspect my change of router (which currently hasn’t set up static IP addresses) is the root cause - what would happen if Rotini can’t resolve host name or contact IP given? (I don’t remember how I specified the Home Assistant host)
Are you using camera widget or other widget with images?
I can confirm that Rotini can’t connect to Home Assistant (i used hostname, which is currently not available). However, I get no error, Rotini just dissapears after while.
Yes, I use a widget with an image (from yr.no) on both tablets, and a device tracker with Google Maps on one of them.
Do you mean that only when HASS hostname is not available the app will disappear after a while?
I have not set up HASS with its hostname again to confirm the correlation, but Rotini started disappearing after the hostname got unavailable.
