Switch does not update when Light is Controlled via other Interface

For some reason, the switch widgets of my Philips Hue lights which are connected through Home Assistant are not updating their state correctly:

  • When I control them via the dashboard, they change the light’s state and the widget updates
  • However, when I control them via the Philips Hue App or via the Home Assistant GUI, the switch’s state does not update accordingly.

Is this a correct behaviour or is this a bug?

EDIT: Actually it does update, but it takes quite a while to do so. Would it be possible to speed up this process?

It should be updating together with standard HASS UI. However, sometimes server disconnects and currently it waits 1 minute before reconnecting, and there is no indication in UI that it is happening. Some kind of notification that connection is lost will be shown eventually together with improved reconnection logic.
